Our Statement on Russia’s War in Ukraine

On the 24th of February, Vladimir Putin began a full-scale invasion in Ukraine. We condemn Russia's unjustified and unprovoked war against Ukraine, Ukrainian culture, self-identification and sovereignty.
This aggressive and occupational war destroyed thousands of lives, caused innumerable casualties and millions of refugees. Thousands of lives have been lost, and millions of livelihoods have been disrupted through displacement, lost homes, and lost incomes.
We demand that Russia immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw all of its military forces from the territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
The war events have proven that the presence of the Russian military forces is dangerous for Ukrainian civilians. There is countless evidence of Russia violating human rights and using inhumane methods of war. We call for an investigation of Russian war crimes conducted in Ukraine and punishment of all those convicted in accordance with the fundamental rules of International Law.
The war was followed by a government-led mass attack on Putin's opposition within Russia. We demand the immediate release of all political prisoners and all people prosecuted under Article 207.3 of Criminal Code of Russia. This attack would not be possible without state censorship. We call for the immediate nullification of Federal Law 327-FZ and the cancellation of any restrictions on independent media in Russia.
We seek to support people prosecuted for their political views and expression of opinion against the war in Russia, as well as Russian citizens who became political refugees in Denmark.
We aim to support Ukrainians affected by the war. We will cooperate with individuals and organizations seeking to stop the war irrespective of their nationality or country of registration.
We call the Russians to resist and fight the unlawful government of the Kremlin. We also call other countries to take this message very seriously and look for the best ways to stop Russia as soon as possible. There can’t be any deals with Putin’s regime. It is threat not only for Ukraine, but also all other neighbor countries.
